Our Story
A Culinary Institute of America graduate, an Italian wine salesperson and a bartender walk into a bar.....
Well, something like that. It didn't happen in a bar, but over glasses of wine and cider over many months, at our house in Fishkill. We thought that the three of us could come up with a place where residents of the Hudson Valley could find a curated collection of small, delicious , well-made brands of wines, spirits and ciders. We thought we could present them in such a way that customers could find the flavors they want at prices they can afford.
After much planning, and lots of ideas getting tossed around among the three of us, we finally settled on our plan. Come in and experience the fruits of our brainstorming, most notably, a 15 foot apple tree complete with a tap system gushing with fresh hard cider. Taste any of the 13 hard ciders on tap for growler fills. Check out our growing selection of NY wines, spirits, cider and mead, in a spacious, easily navigated store. And most importantly, meet one (or all) of the owners here, and let us help you find some new favorites for you and your family.
Our Approach
We think that wines, spirits, ciders and food should be a fun experience. Going to the local wine shop should be something to look forward to, not just another errand on a never-ending list of things to get accomplished.
At Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders, we work hard to make your visit to our store fun and informative. We want to hear what you like and what you are looking to pair or craft so we can help you find the perfect match. Feel free to ask us questions or to taste things - we always have samples open. Explore new grapes, new regions, new styles or new brands, or perhaps an entirely new category to you like mead or hard cider. Variety, as they say, is the spice of life!

We are located 1/4 mile north of Route I-84 (exit 46 for Route 9 North) off of Route 9, behind Boston Market and next to Hudson Buffet, on the northern side of Hudson Valley Towne Center. We are across Route 9 from Cracker Barrel and the Red Line Diner. Our storefront and entrance faces Walmart and Dunkin Donuts (we are across Merritt Blvd from Walmart). We have ample free parking both in front of our store and on the side.
